Most companies bury their data practices in 50-page legal documents nobody reads. We think that's wrong. This Privacy Policy tells you exactly how IonicX AI (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit our website or use our services. No hidden clauses. No fine print tricks. By using our services, you agree to the practices described here.

2. What We Collect (And Nothing More)

• Personal Information: Name, email address, and phone number submitted via contact forms. We ask because we need to respond to you — not to spam you.
• Usage Data: Website analytics (pages visited, time spent, browser info). This helps us fix what's broken and improve what's working.
• Session Recordings: We use Microsoft Clarity to record how pages are used — clicks, scrolls and mouse movement. It is how we find what is confusing. Text you type into form fields is masked.
• Payment Information: Payment details processed securely by third-party providers. We never store your full payment information on our servers.
• Cookies: Data collected through essential and analytics cookies. The bare minimum to keep things running.

3. How We Use Your Information (No Surprises)

• To provide, maintain, and improve our services.

• To send project updates, invoices, and relevant communications.
• To analyse website usage and improve user experience.

We do NOT sell your personal data to third parties. Ever.

• Your data is stored on secure servers provided by Vercel and Supabase.
• We use industry-standard encryption (SSL/TLS) to protect data in transit.
• Access to personal data is restricted to authorised personnel only.
• While we take all reasonable steps to protect your data, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

5. Third-Party Services (Full Transparency)

Here's every service that touches your data:

• Vercel — Website hosting and deployment. Your request logs pass through them.
• Google Analytics 4 — Website traffic and usage analytics.
• Microsoft Clarity — Session replay and heatmaps. Records how pages are used — clicks, scrolls and mouse movement — so we can see what is confusing. Form field contents are masked.
• Telegram — Contact form submissions are delivered to us as a Telegram message, so the details you send reach Telegram's servers.
• Supabase — Database hosting. Contact form submissions are stored here, and so is a page-view record for each visit — the page address, the referring link and your browser's user-agent string. No cookie, no IP address and nothing that identifies you.
• Payment Processors — Secure handling of payment transactions. We never store full payment details.

Each third-party service operates under its own privacy policy.

6. Data We Handle For Our Clients

When a business hires us for Lead Alert, we handle personal data belonging to that business's own customers. We are the processor; the client is the owner of that data.

• What it is: the answers a person gave on that business's Meta or Google lead form — typically name, phone number and email address.
• What we do with it: capture it, store it, and alert the business owner on WhatsApp. We do not market to these people, sell the data, or use it to train anything.
• How long we keep it: for as long as we run the service for that client, and we delete it on their instruction.
• If you are one of these customers and want your data removed, contact the business you enquired with, or us at hello@ionicx.ai and we will pass it on.

7. Your Rights (You Own Your Data)

You have the right to:

• Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Deletion — Request that we delete your personal data.
• Correction — Request correction of any inaccurate data.
• Opt Out — Unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.

8. Cookies (The Minimum We Need)

• Essential Cookies: Required for core website functionality. These cannot be disabled.
